A lot of people said Fight Back To School II was less fun and not as funny as the first one. Put me in the minority, because I happened to enjoy it more than the first one.

Sing returns, and his mouth gets him in trouble again. He pisses off his superior, who then demotes him to a traffic cop, which in itself is hilarious. With no money to pay for his upcoming marriage, Sing decides he will crack a terrorist organization in an international school. The cops don't want him there, but Sing goes in anyway.

What made this film better than first one, in my opinion, was I actually found it hilarious. I think it is because you already were familiar with his character from the first one, so there was no getting to know Stephen Chow's character, or Ng Man-Tat's character. It jumps straight with the jokes - one of them being when a girl who has a crush on Sing and Sing have to spare in school and they end up doing the cha-cha. Don't ask. But it is hilarious.

Stephen Chow's delivery is dead-on, as usual. He delivers the jokes perfectly, and him walking around the school with huge fake glasses got me everytime.

The movie isn't perfect, naturally. The whole upcoming marriage thing and Sing slightly romancing the girl who had a crush on him goes nowhere, fast. The feel of the movie changes drastically when it gets to the action ending - it didn't properly fit the feel of the movie and wasn't totally needed.

Overall though, I enjoyed it more than the first part. It's very funny, and just silly enough that it works.

Stephen Chow is a Sing, a cop with a slick mouth that often gets him in trouble at the force. His police captain loses his pistol, it has been stolen and rumored to be floating around in a school nearby. Not wanting someone dead - or worse yet, rofltriads - in comes Stephen Chow, undercover as a student to find out where the gun is.

Sounds like a common, cheesy plot. But plot doesn't matter in this film because it is so hilarious. You are basically watching Stephen Chow dick around, mouth off to teachers, and try to juggle being undercover and doing homework at the same time for 90 minutes. Plus, add Roy Cheung, who always seems to be the villian, and it's even better.

They seem to remember the plot in the last 20 minutes of the film, which leads to some action scenes with Stephen and Roy Chueng. However, the movie fails to fall into the trap of bouncing around moods that Chinese movies are so well known for. It stays funny and amusing the entire time. Stephen Chow is a god of comedy movies, and seeing him take over the school and become extremely popular is great.

My only gripe would be that it felt like it ran a bit too long near the end, but nothing that took away from the film.

Overall, Fight Back To School is a funny movie. It mixes Stephen Chow's charms with a school setting, and it's just fun to watch.
